Après le blizzard

2008.03.18

Rue Morgan

DancingDolphin YIKES.... I'm glad to be in the sun! Beautiful night shots, Madoc, and great use of an unusual perspective.

Dragana excellent and lonely

signsnwonders Such an incredibly harsh winter you have had there..one big storm after another it seems! But what can one do about weather? Just take wonderful photos like these. The perspective is interesting,it really gives the feeling of the quantity of snow..I like #2 and #4 (love that moon).
signsnwonders · 2008-03-18: 08:19

Belles perspectives, la dernière est ma favorite.
somnifere · 2008-03-18: 10:39
etodd80 I just looked at Jet28's photos of sunny Australia, what a change to look at these! I really like #1 a lot, the blue sky, the perspective and the angle of the shot. Added to favorites!
etodd80 · 2008-03-18: 11:19

Gwadannie · 2008-03-18: 12:04
Kanya Great perspective! Beautiful set!
Kanya · 2008-03-18: 13:15

mattandbranson Once again I find myself captivated by your use of color! You always have the most amazing eye for tone! I think #2 is my favorite...love the angle!
mattandbranson · 2008-03-18: 16:02
tantatantan the second one is my favorite. great compositions and lights. wonderful as always :)
tantatantan · 2008-03-18: 16:15
MHJphotos These, as ALWAYS, are fantastic! The low perspective you've chosen is awesome ... I will remember that for the next time I shoot something like this! Shooting from such a low level always adds so much drama.

This is quite the storm, my friend. Same storm from the Wedding?
MHJphotos · 2008-03-18: 16:46
photopoet At least the snow makes a grand subject—but enough is enough! The first photo is my favorite.
photopoet · 2008-03-18: 17:00
castaway The first shot is great. Brilliant work.
castaway · 2008-03-18: 17:28

dkelly i heard that you guys had more snow !

i love the dof in the last image
dkelly · 2008-03-18: 18:28
noptek · 2008-03-18: 18:31
mclps Wow! That's a lot of snow! I'm a little jealous. Great perspectives and the last shot is perfect. :)
mclps · 2008-03-18: 20:05
maharba Hmmm..guess I'll have to visit Montreal in the summer.
maharba · 2008-03-18: 20:54
Cherax It's great the way you got down & low in these, and how it's brought out the textures, especially in the first ones. If it were me I'd crop a little off the bottom of #2, and that would probably make it the pick of the bunch.
Cherax · 2008-03-18: 21:13
TheCrazyCroat Super angles. You must have been down on the ground for these. The last pic is remarkable!
TheCrazyCroat · 2008-03-18: 21:46
ScubaLiz Wow! That's a lot of snow. Great photos, I love the upward angle!
ScubaLiz · 2008-03-18: 22:33

dadlak · 2008-03-18: 22:49
BlueLady Looks like Spring has lost its way for Quebec...
Great night shots. I like the perspective a lot!
BlueLady · 2008-03-19: 04:28
storytaylor still winter there, but is so magical, to see how you catch the mood of frozen nights.
storytaylor · 2008-03-19: 06:09
focussed The perspective youve used here gives the impression of a miniature model town....Fantastic...*adds #1 to favs* :)
focussed · 2008-03-19: 07:55
domino · 2008-03-19: 09:29
Cabecilha low light situations are my favorites now! So I do like these! :)
Cabecilha · 2008-03-19: 11:35

fionarobinson · 2008-03-19: 13:44
marikos Great post - again. # 2 is my fav.
marikos · 2008-03-19: 14:48
mikenj Always love the angles in your composition. You always seem to catch what others would not. That last photo kind of looks like stubble, no? You should take pictures every day and not make us wait!
mikenj · 2008-03-19: 15:40
Mabi938 · 2008-03-20: 07:12
korekta interesting perspective, I like it :)
korekta · 2008-03-20: 09:17

apnimages · 2008-03-20: 10:35
jagungal You've been through some of the film genres already — but this one looks like Sci-fi ! Very powerful effects achieved through composition. Well done mon ami!
jagungal · 2008-03-20: 22:35
mintra Lovely post, nice shots.
mintra · 2008-03-21: 01:46
