#4, #10 and #11 blow me away Madoc — but the whole series is impressive. So much better in BW, these sorts of shots. Thank you for your kind comments in my guestbook recently. Yes, plenty more coming!

Merci Madock.

the way you see the city is amazing. these photos about memories of "almost dead architecture" is a great tribute to all the people who really understand the way the cities of present days grow. do cities work anymore? how did they get to be such sprawling conglomerations of lookalike subdivisions, megafreeways, and "big box" superstores surrounded by acres of parking lots? and why, most of all, don't they feel like real communities? these are the questions that Alex Marshal to build better cities, Marshall asserts, we must understand and intelligently direct the forces that shape them. you must read the book, is fascinating. thanks my friend

similar situations happened in other cities that went all out for their expos... in the case of expo'98 in Portugal the chosen site for it was undeveloped and needing restoration so all infrasructures built are being used now! :)
