You bring your own wonderful and unique style to the 'capture' of these special birds.Although there are differences in the lifesyle between the urban and rural raven their character remains much the same as you have shown.I enjoyed all these photos very much.

I admire the clarity of these birds in flight -- unusual to see them with wings swooping down during flight. Creative capture of them from above --unique position and very appealing --as they hunt for food. The piece of orange "food" stands out from the warm brown tones beautifully. You reveal their grace and beauty in an urban setting. Well done!

It was well worth the effort you put into getting these. I wonder if the mood with which you first started to photograph them affected the photos? Especially the hunger? #10 is my favorite. I also really like the barest hint of color in #8. And the wonderful stare in #12.

This was a true Madoc sytle post. I'd recognize it anywhere. Great shots. #1 was my fave... it had speed. #6 looked like a DEC. I like the slight color in #6. The story had me riveted.

Beautiful set, Madoc. I can see why you're so drawn to them - you really know how to present them in an unforgettable light. We have a pair of crows nesting in a very tall pine tree directly behind our house. I've tried to capture them in flight, but it's very difficult. Your photos are magnificent.

these crows are menacing!!! Your composition as always is just so inspiring. Not a single conventional shot in the set. All are just sensational of course, but #6 really just captures my attention and imagination....actually I take that back. I love them all.
