Midgetlegs It's not that I don't like it. It just lacks the ground elements that I enjoy in the other three. There's a definition in the landscape of those three that melds really well with the softness of the sky. The line drawings are a sort of middle, with the solid outline and the transparency. The kite in the second one isn't bold enough to stand up against the sky. But! These are strictly my opinions, and I don't even like pancakes, so who knows what I'm talking about.

I saw that video when it first came out, and LOVE it... he is so great. Not afraid to tell it how it is.. or should be.
Yes, shame there aren't more people around like him.

reminds me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? when the guy gets flatted... scared the shit out of me as a child.
Yeah, the book Flat Stanley used to disturb me as a child.

I hope I never turn my back on myself... because then I really wouldn't have any one to depend on.
Yes, keep your friends close and your self closer.... like the old saying goes?

:) I just made a few new graphic novel purchases... I can't wait for their arrival, even though I don't have much spare time to read them. At least I can enjoy their lovely covers until I have a break.
I still haven't read these graphic novels! Now I've just started a new novel. There are just too many books out there and too little time.

I really enjoy this shot. Sorry you had to paint everything by yourself :-\
It wasn't too bad in the end, my husband helped and we got to spend lots of time together over those four days just chatting while we painted (instead of being on computers, etc). So no, I don't regret it. :)

I wish I could find something to tame my mane....
I highly recommend the "Diva" straightener... closest thng I've found to salon-quality straightening, and not as expensive as some brnads (ie, a GHD). :)

That's what my swimsuit looks like, but with polka dots. I wish I had a swim cap though...
Someone once bought me a woolen swimming costume like this as a joke. I think she got it in a antique shop. It's too small, so I can't stand up straight in it. I think I'd be arrested if I wore it in public.
