What's Wrong with the Golden Retriever?

2008.01.20
Boris with new arrives older GR Abraham, he is very sweet and gentle

This is Marigold, no history can find about him but this mongrel is very nice to people

Agatha, she is so happy when I bring her to walk

But she is afraid of men

This is Pablo, just looks exactly like Janie

This is Sylvie, she was adopted last Summer, her owner comes to buy some dog food and say Hi

This good man is her owner now

Alpha, he always love to give five to us

Boris takes Bjorn for a long walk

This is Ketchup, mix of sorts but he looks like a little lion to me

Abraham comes with smell and dirty hair, we have decided to shower him

I think he knows what we are doing is good for him

Then Mr. Chandler is the next, Alice cleans his feet and cut some long hair for him just to look better before CNY

Good news from today: The two GR's Golden and Judy were surrendered last Sunday are adopted and I think their new owner are just so nice to take both of them especially Judy was not feeling well.

I've seen serveral GRs are surrendered recently, people just want to get rid of them with tons of excuses or reasons: allergy; no pets rules; difficult to train or keep them, etc. I don't really know or want to know how their owner's feeling when they brought them to AFCD but although they are surrendered, their faces are still full of hope and trust on people, they may think, people are their friends forever..........

I am so happy when I meet and hear some people they don't mind their old age, sickness or look to adopt them from the kennels instead of buying one in the pet shop. They really deserve a good owner and be loved coz they are just deserved!
