Someone may think HKDR keeps too many dogs now

If you think the same way, I would like you to think backwards and think about where are these dogs from........

This cocker spaniel mom Patsy was surrendered together with her four puppies yesterday

This pointer pup Blini was found in AFCD, for this kind of pure breed ended up in AFCD, I think the people who bought him at the beginning never thought about he needs plenty of exercise or not cute as what they thought so decided to abandon him

Etta, a 10-year old mongrel with complicated background but still, people surrendered her with different excuses

They wouldn't be ended up in HKDR if their previous owners were not that selfish......

Always find puppies in AFCD, that is why we need all our dogs to be desexed

But if without HKDR, without Sally who saved them, they would be ended up their lives in only four days at AFCD and we would never have a chance to see all these happy ending pictures:

Denvy and Wing officially adopted Milkshake (aka Belinda) on 1st July

More great news this week for one of our longtermers Eden was adopted by this lady and she is settling in her new home very well!

Deli is adopted by this nice couple today, so happy for her :D

Up to now, HKDR has saved about 3,000 dogs and each time when I see they have found a good home, I understand how this hard work means to Sally

Kennels today: Missy is so lazy to walk, so Linda just leaves her outside

Alice, we have a few occassions of heavy rain today but don't worry, Linda never forgets to feed your babies. They are now waiting for chicken from her

WNP Homing Day: This mother is so good to let her baby to approach puppies when her baby is very young. It is also a very good lesson to teach her baby to repect lives

If you want to adopt a puppy, please visit WNP every Sunday afternoon
She is one of the pups Amanda

She is Nugget aka Daisy

One of the 6 stripey "lorry pups"

They were found under a lorry recently

This pup named Serendipity aka Sasha

About 60 donated dog beds arrived LFS dogs shelter. A few of us went there and helped assembling the beds for the dogs on 4th July

The dogs inside here were only sleeping either on the concrete floor or wooden pallets before

So many lovely dogs are also in this shelter

This fluffy one supervised our job, hehe

There was heavy rain and the dogs needed to stay inside

The dogs with skin problems we saw last two months have improved a lot by the medication and injections from Dr. Joe

After we assembled all the beds, the most touching moment was .....

to see how happy they finally have beds to sleep

and sleep perfectly well on it, I felt really content!

annacox Great work and pleased to see the dogs have beds. My GR was also from HKDR (Mui Mui aka Bonnie). She is doing great and became the master of the house, you don't have to worry about her la.

beebeetungtung Its unbelievably touching to see dogs in LFS kennel jumped on the news beds and took naps immediately. Hope this can keep their skin dry and reduce the chance of skin disease. A big thank you to those who donated the beds. Also another big thank you to Dr. Joe who constantly help these dogs.

reisende great pictures as always, mandy!

where did LFS get the bed from? I've been looking for that type of bed for my own dogs but I can't find them in singapore.
