Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour

2008.01.10

catfish

saltwater crocodile

the same saltwater crocodile (its head)

My camera has an "aquarium" setting so I thought I'd try it out. It was fun, however, I discovered it is not easy to take photos of fish that are swimming at top speed, especially when you're surrounded by hundreds of other people who are also trying to take photos! :)

rolpa You did a great job - this is a really interesting collection catching the variety and magic of the place. (Our French visitors went today but I've never been.)

chrisfly That is not an easy job, but you did some splendid work!! Awesome shots, and #8 is so spectacular, how did you do that?

Maxine Ah, number 8 - now that is a wall painting which they placed behind a real pond. So I just took a photo of it :)

jagungal Nicely done Maxine; you've created some beautiful images in tricky conditions. I think I like 10 & 16 best. Almost psychedlic!
