Ambiguity, thou art Canadian.

The American's have a very clear history when it comes to their Thanksgiving celebration. As a child growing up in Canada, the American version was what we learned. It seemed even the education system could not adequately explain why the Canadian celebration existed, let alone why it was in October. Those interested will find a wiki article here.

For myself, I was happy to enjoy a day with my family, cook a massive dinner, eat too much dessert, and oh yes, do dishes.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving, but I surely stop always when people say they are celebrating thanksgiving. What am I thankful of? I'm thankful of my parents, because they love me so much and they do/give me everything I want. I'm thankful of being healthy, and i'm thankful of being myself!
