Cool Marjorie! I tried the demo version of lightroom for about a day. Eh. . . as usual, didn't know what I was doing in the first 5 minutes so gave it up. lol

Nice use of b&w ! I also like the depth of field. There is a lot of nostalgia in this picture ! Good luck with Lightroom ! I only use The Gimp, and so far I'm satisfied with it !

I like the focus and the lighting in this shot, and also the simplicity of it.

yes I'm agree with Lismel your B&Ws are amazing I liked them so much, I told you before in one of your posts I wish I could take B&Ws like you do *sigh* and about LR3 I gave it try but it was my exam season and I couldn't figure it out but now I will have clos look at it :D

the shot is so wonderful specially in B&W the DOF is adjusted well but in the other hand there is a black color in background which I wish it wasn't over there! and I bet the Lego parts were colorful as they usually are so if I were in your shoe I would rather to shoot in RGB mode

... and going against the popular opinion (I seem to do that) I prefer the colour version. I guess, growing up with B&W as the only choice, I like the bright colours. Kodachrome came out when I was in highschool and ....

now this is what I say! do you see in the color version the composition between colors gives you alive sense but in the B&W one as lis said it gives you some nostalgic sense thank you Dear Marjorie for these nice shots
