Day 287 - Child's play

Building blocks is child's play... I wish Lightroom was too. Spent time relearning import and export presets...

[edit] colour version is for Pooriya :)
????? Cool Marjorie! I tried the demo version of lightroom for about a day. Eh. . . as usual, didn't know what I was doing in the first 5 minutes so gave it up. lol

lismel Nice use of b&w ! I also like the depth of field. There is a lot of nostalgia in this picture !
Good luck with Lightroom ! I only use The Gimp, and so far I'm satisfied with it !

djnana I like the focus and the lighting in this shot, and also the simplicity of it.
djnana · 2011-01-20: 10:25
coloredlens great post! i also like the B&W effect and the DOF.
I am playing with Lightroom a lot more now too, and I think I am starting to get the hang of it :)

Pedar yes I'm agree with Lismel your B&Ws are amazing I liked them so much, I told you before in one of your posts I wish I could take B&Ws like you do *sigh*
and about LR3 I gave it try but it was my exam season and I couldn't figure it out but now I will have clos look at it :D
Pedar · 2011-01-20: 13:04
snowpie really cool! love it in b&w, cause it takes the noise out of it. :)
snowpie · 2011-01-20: 15:02
jokershadow the shot is so wonderful specially in B&W the DOF is adjusted well but in the other hand there is a black color in background which I wish it wasn't over there! and I bet the Lego parts were colorful as they usually are so if I were in your shoe I would rather to shoot in RGB mode
jokershadow · 2011-01-20: 17:35
Pedar with new photo I think we have right to re-comment :D
seeing both of them, I still prefer B&W version
Pedar · 2011-01-20: 19:08
stabeez ... and going against the popular opinion (I seem to do that) I prefer the colour version. I guess, growing up with B&W as the only choice, I like the bright colours. Kodachrome came out when I was in highschool and ....

DancingDolphin I like the b/w!
DancingDolphin · 2011-01-20: 22:40
promise These two shots are nice and unique in different ways. But Love the color one. ^_^ Will be waiting to see ore of the toys at your home. That brings back my memory when I was a child.

jokershadow now this is what I say! do you see in the color version the composition between colors gives you alive sense but in the B&W one as lis said it gives you some nostalgic sense thank you Dear Marjorie for these nice shots
jokershadow · 2011-01-21: 06:46
Andarta Nice shots (and nice "volcano"), you really do shoot good b&ws.
Andarta · 2011-01-21: 08:38
