Day 338 - Friday breakfast with the girls

Bears carved from logs by some enterprising artist with a chainsaw. Very cool.

Now that's my kind of coffee cup.

Seriously the best breakfast I've ever had. This is a bakery, so the whole place is filled with fresh bread and baked goods. Fresh baked bread with breakfast, you can't beat it.

There was cool country 'stuff' all over. This was just a sample.

It started out once a month, two friends and I would get together for breakfast. Now it's every 2 or 3 weeks, one of us needs to hash something out over a full fry up and coffee.

The local greasy spoon closed at the end of February, so we went to the next village over.

Officially the Best Breakfast Ever. Home made bread, home made home fries, sounds redundant, but it's amazing how many home fries really aren't. It was like sitting in mom's kitchen. Perfect.

It sounds good and looks good, I need to get a coffee and some food, see you latter!!! love your post

Definitely sounds perfect and looks yummy...once in a while...and that coffee cup looks just about the right aount for my early starts

Looks yummy! Most days I "stick" with oatmeal...
(I thought the same thing about the corelle dishes. I use to have that set!)

Just become friends - and I check your blog - and oh my! Food. I am having a boring 'cleanse' day and your excellent shots of very appealing food have made me feel the most deprived Canadian on the planet. Thanks friend!!! By the way, I totally agree about the coffee cup - and the bears are wonderful - if only all chain-saw operations were so creative!
