sometimes its not about the shot

total failure of a shot, didn't bother tinkering in Lr3... it's not about the shot, after all... this was taken after a few guests had arrived.

Food.... yes, and Peter and Karman you know what I made :)
Meatballs, chicken parmesan, focaccia bread with balsamic reduction, pasta salad, plus cheese dip with fresh bread, potato salad, quiche, veggies, cakes and rolls for dessert... lots of liquid refreshment.. a good supper all around.

Didn't think to shoot the kids in the pool until most of them had gotten out... oh well, they loved it, that's the main thing.

Today I had my annual summer potluck... these are a few shots from the afternoon... but sometimes it's not about the shot, its about enjoying the company. So the shots are not great, but the company was excellent.

It's definitely not always about the shot Marjorie. Sometimes it's about documenting a good time to help remember it later. Sometimes it's about something you want to say. I think it's a great set. Only wish I could have come. Did Roger show up?

This is all about the eating that is for sure!!!! What a great spread of food Marjorie! You have a pool? You lucky dog!!! Now if you would have let me know - I would have definitely drove up for this!!!!

A nice summer gathering for sure - and you're right. It's about good company and good food. You must've been cooking for days to come up with all those culinary creations! You have a pool? *Jealous*
