I had two of my favourite shots printed today... 10x13 and 10x15... I'm so pleased with the way they came out! It's the first time I've done anything beyond an 8x10, and the first time I've printed 'offsite' so to speak. Now to find frames ...

Yes!! Absolutely!! Many call themselves 'photographers' when what they are is digital image makers....it's the physicality of photo, paint or other medium that really turns us on and makes us artists...something to hold and treasure not just to look at on a computer :-))) ????? · 2011-12-16: 20:58

Coooool!! They sure are wonderful shots Marj!! it's great to see pictures printed isn't it. Hope you find a suitable frame for them soon. I'd keep it simple as not to take away the attention from these great shots! I'm picking up 10 prints today, all printed 30/45 size (that's Centimetres, not metres off course ;-) ) Still have 5 frames to Sand, paint, sand, paint, sand, paint, then cut 15 passe-partouts to size, stick the prints on them, clean my glass and put it all together, for the January exhibition. I think you should be excited. A framed photo is a keepsake and far more precious than one kept in a folder on a computer. Did you have them done locally? stabeez · 2011-12-17: 12:10

Indeed! Those are really wonderful images and to see them in much larger displays is a special moment! I had an 8x10 done of a shot my friend liked and gave it to her for Cmas. I was as excited as you to see it matted and framed. Isn't that cool? djnana · 2011-12-18: 19:22
