Beautiful dinner at Westside Tavern tonight.
It was our first time there and it was extremely good. Paul had the James Ranch Lamb French Dip (w/caramelized Onions, Horseradish Cream, Rosemary Au Jus on a Soft Roll and sea-salted fries). I had Grilled Prime Flat Iron Steak, which came with the fries but I switched to the whipped potatoes) done just right -medium-rare. We splurged on this gorgeous dessert, Lemon Meringue Pie with an Almond Graham Cracker Crust. Service was top notch, food was flavorful and well-presented, portions are generous (which they should be because the price point isn't low) and the restaurant is gorgeous. Could be a new favorite before screenings at Fox and Sony. |
