Feisty Horses

I started walking with Val and stopped to adjust my camera..when I felt something come really close and turned around and it was Blaze..

I walked on and when I came out of the trees, they saw me and all came running

Willow

They stopped and watched Val a few minutes

Then looked back at me

they were prancing around wanting some hay I guess

As they were eating hay, Don called Val and upon hearing his voice down where the feed barn is..away they went!

Finding out he wasn't feeding they head back up toward the hay and me..

Chico always manages to go past me

Maggie sees them running and gives chase...which Blaze didn't appreciate at all

These two are neck and neck in their prancing

Then they wheel around and come right by me!

I yell at them to stop and go eat their hay..Blaze talks back to me..

Then she proceeds to paw the ground..eventually joining the others at the hay..

They do love to romp around without any one in the saddle, don't they? Love their joy of running, zest for life. Love the way they respond to human love too. They do make fascinating subjects for a photo session.

Oh I love how you narrate the photos...it's like a good story book from Kindergarten when all we had to do was simply listen and watch...and of course, ENJOY!
