Huge Rocks ~ Small Flowers

See the man with the chiseled features? I am climbing up these rocks..closer to the water at Eleven Mile Reservoir and Canyon.

Pretty flowers growing in this little space..can't be much soil at all..

Don and Val on top of others close by..I didn't know which one I liked better so here are both.

Actually there were kind of far away from me..always ahead because I'm looking and shooting!

The sky was changing...clouding up to rain

They are ready to start back to camper and I'm still on top of the rocks..

I'm walking back in the drizzling rain..protecting my camera but had to get this shot quickly..

Heading back to camper..see how isolated we were from others? Great little world of our own. Down the mountain were 3 other campgrounds here..

Very interesting. We are thinking that NW USA might be interesting for part of our vacation next summer. Your photos have, in part, helped us with that decision.

I remember the camp sites being very full there! You must have been lucky to get off by yourselves! Lovely photos of the area! Really like the man's face you found in the rocks!
