I am just learning to watercolor paint..My sister, Sue, has given me a lot of pointers since she's the professional artist of all mediums..She said to remember "painting is for YOU"..a lot like photography..

She likes them then critiques them...helps me learn to be better..so, what do You say?

Really vibrant colors, Sara! I like especially that Blue-Green arae in the upper left quadrant! The paints have blended well and attractively. I know nothing what so ever about watercolor or any other type of painting - but that area looks really nice to me. Good luck on your new venture! If it helps watercolour is one of the most difficult types to start with , most people look at them and think it should be easy not so when you try so well done. I particularly like the top left hand part you did . My teacher is always saying to me about my paintings that one part is super and the the other part not so good so keep trying.
