One of at least 3 trees at the softball field across from the church building that went down yesterday while we were in church. This one didn't land in the street, unlike a couple of others.

If you're in the US, you may have heard about the big storm we've been going through here on the Oregon Coast since yesterday. We had 120 mph (190 kph) winds in some places, although here in Newport, I think our highest gust was only 82 mph (131 kph) late yesterday morning.
Scenes like these are fairly common all around here -- trees down, limbs sawed off where they fell in the road. It's a pretty good mess here.
