I didnt make this tutorial
(sorry guys i forgot to add that this is for photoshop)

1). First you take a picture where you can clearly see the hair
2). Then you click on the quickmask option
3). After that you take the brush tool and select the hair. Choose whichever feather size and brush size would work best. Zoom in if needed also
4). After you have made your selection go back to standard mode.
5). You should see what Melon likes to call "dancing ants"
6). Then you copy and paste to make a new layer
7). You should see the hair in its own layer.
8). Then you go to Image- Adjustments- then Selective Colorings.
9). Change the colors to neautrals.
10). Then you can mess around with the colors to get the right color you want =]
11). Then repeat with the next hairs
