The work strats early in mornings when it is still cold and dew on the ground and berries are cold too

My father has had strawberries over 40 years and now his son-in-law continues work

The work starts early in spring by maintaining the bushes and watering during nightfrosts.

You have to walk, cycle or drive to move between fields.

Every berry must be carried to transport cars and it isn't easy job !

Only Europeans get sunburns.

There are workers to assort berries before coldroom or transportation.

very very hard work, these people are brave and patient ! photo 25 is magnificent, but I am happy to meet these people, I didn't know that there are strawberries in Finland, because I am a bit stupid, when someone says "Finland", I imagine only snow ...

Thanks for your comments ! And to Camilleauteuil you must visit Finland and Helsinki in summer !!!! It might be a little bit gold then but our capital city by the sea is so beautyfull in summer. And Lappland of course too and the West Coast, where I live is the most beautyfull of all !!!!!!

A lot of bending over to pick, mmm. the strawberries look gorgeous. The closest to a strawberry field for Singapore is Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Thank you for letting me see your photos.
