I like the contrast between the nice interior and the old and decayed wall opposite, filling the entire window frame (claustrophobic). And of course this photograph tells a a whole story, with the strongly felt human presence (crumpled sheets) although no human being can be seen.
i feel honored to have your analysis

stormfish i've tried to download it yesterday via bitorrent but only got a password protected archive :-( but almost all of his new songs are available with lyrics on youtube, just search for it there.

but i managed to download a rather high quality recording of the berlin concert in admiralspalast (the one i didn't get tickets to on 13.2.2013) - it's GREAT! :-))

stormfish "a joint? are you offering? ;)"
- sorry no... last time i had one was last century, too. i stopped smoking 15 years ago when my then brother in law, a regular smoker, offered me a smoke and i found myself hanging over the toilet seat for the next 3 hours... that's when i realized that the stuff i was used to way back in the 80ies IS NO MORE. today, the shit produced and offered out there is that fucking strong that i don't have the stomach for it anymore... and while that made me sad for a while, i'm quite happy to have given it up, since i actually never liked the smell of it anyway.

HOWEVER! i still think those boys and girl out there have a right to fuck up their lives with whatever drug they like, as much as i enjoy their never ending attempt to fuck up our well prepared, carefully renovated, expensively decorated and totally boring environment with graffiti, bass drums and post punk chic. ;-)

have you listened to the new nick cave album yet?

ładnie się komponuje na tle ogrodzenia
bo na tym zdjęciu nie widać 10-metrowej dziury w ogrodzeniu kawałek dalej ;)

stormfish p.s. so when WAS the last time you smoked a joint? ;-)
stormfish · 2013-02-19: 03:43
stormfish well you can call it what you want... wall puke, if you like to think in such terms...;-)

i love graffiti. no matter how ugly it is. if i's own a house, i'd put a sign on it's wall allowing anyone to scribble or paint whatever they want on it... heck i would probably repaint the wall every 6 months or so to allow new people reusing it. or maybe i'd open up a project of overpainting, so the wall would constantly change, it would be so much fun to see how it is being reused and reused... instead of some static, empty, artificial aesthetic end product some long dead fuckhead of architect had in mind when he built it.

whatever you call "it" - art is not something that just exists in a product, it exists only when used by its recipients.

the colourful scribbles you picture here I'd find pretty annoying if I had to walk past them every day. Did those kids with paint sprays who "created" all that mess have anything on their mind at all, anything they themselves would remember and still think important the next day? I think that the...
geez...! and HOW old you said you are? when was the last time you smoked a joint? popped a beer and sang la paloma on the street? ;-)

random fun, baby! random fun for me all the time! :-)
