City Seagulls

2007.03.09

This set was taking last sunday from my window.
I wish I can get closer to them. I love seagulls so much, since I read one book when I was in High School.

About 9 years a go when I was in High School, I had to do project about reading. I picked " I am David" by Anne Holm and another one is "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach.
I love both of them, but Jonathan Livingston Seagull dose really chaged a lot of my life. This book made me started to think on my own, and be brave enough to go for my dream, even it is too far and even for some reason, it is different way from our family's way (my parent)
I read this book in Thai (Translated) so it is hard for me to take some great words from this book to put here with my post, because of I worry that in some word it may different from original Englsih word.

deleted062007 Oh I love these shots Orasa!! They are so FREE - and an excellent boardering on them too!! Orasa Jonathan Livingston Seagull is such an excellent book to read and I am so happy that you are learning about life from this - you have a difficult road that you travel on, and I hope with courage, that you will eventually transcend all of this!! You can learn from a book, but one must apply what you have learned - and I am so sure that you are!! - Sincerely, Art

ee97056 Very nice. I was having lunch today, and i looked through the window and there were 2 seagulls floating in the wind drift. Such a coincidence :)

roselirenato Yes, you're right. I read Jonathan Livingston Seagull in Portuguese when I was 10 and I could feel the same messages you got from the book.

Wonderful shots, as ever you do....

naebegirl I like these pics. For lack of a better word, I think they are cute. Especially the ones of them on the parking floor... that's hilarious! They stand on it like they own it!
