Impressive work, I am dying to know what is around that skull ? And where the picture has been taken ? I'd like to know more about this picture it keeps me in suspens

To: eutal, tvpav & cherrygirl - thanks for you comments! :-) To: carmitage - it was taken in old cementary. It is totally clean - no computer manipulation done. The background (the wall) is the back of a huge tomb (renovated) and the skull in front - is a detail of another tomb, still covered with dust, dirt and some green stuff :-)

The simplicity, makes this macarbre subject look almost painted. Great subject, great composition...different and very cool! It's on my favourites list now! (3rd there)..."Alas poor Yorik!"

The skull looks as if it is being consumed by a ravenous beast. I like the way it hugs the right side of the photo. Fascinating portrait!
