قلعه فلک الافلاک معروفترین اثر تاریخی موجود در شهر خرم آباد است که به دوازده برجی شهرت دارد و در سده هفتم هجری در دوره اتابکان لر بر خرابههای دژی ساخته شده، که برخی آن را از آثار دوره ساسانی میدانند. در عهد فتحعلیشاه قاجار مرمت گردیده و برج مرتفعی بدان افزوده شده و از آن پس فلک الافلاک خوانده شده است.
