I once had a cage with 112 budgerigars. When I was seven I decided to let them all go. My father was furious. They disappeared across the neighbourhood. But by 6 o' clock they had all (except the green ones) come home for their food. The green ones are the wild type. Which just goes to show - You can take the wild out of the domesticated born but you cant take the wild out of the wild born. Since then I have never kept birds in cages. So I agree :((
