02-10-08 Down by the River

2008.02.10
This is the Market St. Bridge. In the background you can see the walking bridge.

One of the outdoor lights on Ross' Landing.

By the pier there's seating for concerts right on the river.

This is on the pier.

A cool wooden sculpture. That is the TN Aquarium in the background.

Again, we had fantastic weather here in Chattanooga. My husband, Andre, and I took Cash to a playground on the riverfront, downtown. The city of Chattanooga has done a ton of renewal projects down there and it is beautiful.

We walked around a little after we left the playground, and I got to take some pictures. I will have to take more in the spring when everything starts blooming.

I absolutely love this city. I wasn't born here, I am a college transplant. I tried to move back home (FL) a couple of years after I graduated, but my heart was still in TN.

maharba ...reminds me that I haven't been to Chattanooga in a long time. I was impressed how the airport and train station were in the same place. Wish I could have seen more. I like the photos.

Although I have crossed the state line, I am always a proud Chattanoogan!

oldbabe Chattanooga looks like the place to be for great pics and warm weather. The sky and water look so blue. I usually don't like artsy sculptures but I do like the one you've captured.
