03-26-08 Lost Lumber

2008.03.26

This one is a bit better when enlarged.

I wanted to participate in this week's theme, but I was too busy and exhausted to think this afternoon. I saw this piece of wood on the side of the road, and thought it looked a little interesting. I stopped and took a few shots, while Cash was yelling, "GO GO GO!" He's not quite patient yet. (Wonder where he gets that from?)

Since I am so very tired, I am cutting it short tonight...

Thanks to all who had kind words and encouragement for me yesterday!

Peche Nailed it you have! Great pun by leochung, I just had to piggyback off it! :P
I love the first shot - I agree with Julie, fantastic composition and I really like the way the light plays off it.
Rest up and I hope all works out :)

????? Great set!
Wonderful, I didn't know how beautiful an old piece of wood and some rusty nails could be!

oldbabe Funny how before photoblog you may have driven right by an old piece of wood on the road and not given it a second thought. Now don't you find yourself finding beauty in the most mundane of things? And that's a good thing ;-)

I love #1 and it makes you wonder what it was used for with all those nails so close together in one place
