05-01-08 Yes, I am a MASTER OF URBAN EDUCATION!

I know you have all been on the edge of your seat waiting to hear if I fell on my face, passed out cold, or ran out crying during my presentation. :) Well....Luckily, non of those things happened!

I was super nervous and my stomach was in knots the entire day. I got to the presentation room, and my professor tells me that I AM FIRST!! My reply, "Seriously? ME? I am first?...seriously? Is this a joke?" Nope. no joke. My hands shook like crazy, and my voice cracked, but I made it through. I received lots of compliments on my research, and my close friend, Lindsay, said she couldn't tell I was nervous at all. (It's possible she was lying to make me feel better.)BUT who cares?? It's over, baby, over!!

The foundation that set up this whole program with UTC, and paid for me to get this fabulous payraise, I mean, master's degree treated us to a yummy dinner afterwards.

So it's official... I am a master. :)
