05-14-08 Theme: Dream...My Dream

I was thinking about this week's theme, and wondering what my take on it would be. I first thought of it literally...I almost posted shots of the Twin Peaks dvd. What goes on in my head once my eyes close is quite parallel to a David Lynch movie. Pretty stink'in crazy.

However, as my mine wondered on, I suppose I came to a deeper more symbolic dream for myself. The dream I have begun to nurture is a dream of new growth. Growth in all areas of my life. In my relationships, in my career, and more than anything, In my spiritual walk.

Understanding that I am not old by any means, I believe that I am at an age when I should be getting my ducks in a row. I should be flourishing in all of my environments, not just barely surviving. It would be correct to say that I want more out of life.

Not to say that I am unhappy or that I do not feel blessed. I truly do. I just know that what I see patterned across my days is only the tip of the iceberg, and there is further excavating to be done if only I brave the unknown.

There you have it. My declaration. My dream. My arms are opened wide.
