06-01-08 Thank You Taffy
2008.06.01
Our neighbors went on vacation to the beach(Luuuuckkky!) and we picked up their mail for them. The sweethearts brought us back some salt water taffy. They, of course, didn't have to...their mail was no trouble, but it was very nice of them to remember us.
The taffy fills my new aluminum bowl, that my mother-in-law found for me, quite nicely. How nice of her! She's always keeping me in mind when browsing thrift and antique shops. She knows what I like, and scoops things up for me. :)
Anyhoo- I will start my first day of curriculum mapping tomorrow. Pretty easy work, and good money...can't complain. I will be doing it all this week and part of next. Gotta make all the green I can to save for our week at the beach next month!

I love going to the ocean just to get taffy! Sounds like you are wonderful neighbors and have wonderful neighbors.
