hmmm something different two different one of my sisters dog and another of a fantastic sunset
a tiny wee small guide on hdr
i dont use photoshop to make my hdr shots
i use a program called photomatix which is
so easy to use i first found out about hdr
thro surfing the net most of the guides said
you had to shot in raw and have your camera on
tripod and shot a couple of shots under exposed
and a couple over exposed and one without touching
the exposure of the scene you are trying to turn
into a hdr shot BUT there is another way your camera
doest have to shot raw you can make a hdr shot from
one jpeg open your jpeg into photoshop
and then select curves under exspose one shot then
click save then click on revert then over exspose
the next shot click save
you should now have the orignal shot/a over exsposed shot
and finally a under exsposed shot now close photoshop
down and then open photomatix (give the demo a try)
select generate and select the three images and then click ok
it will ask do you want to manually tune exsposures click one to be -2
and one to be 0 and then one to be +2 then click ok the software
wil now generate a hdr picture but it will not look right
click on tone mapping and this is were fun begins mess about with settings
untill your happy with what you see then click ok save that image and
boabs your uncle you now have a hdr image load it back onto photoshop
to adjust noise and things
hope this helps
i also use a software program called lucisart filter for
photoshop which is amazing
after all that todays song is
