For me, a good local café can become your home away from home when you're in a foreign city, and a great way to connect with the locals... in Paris, for us, it was a tiny little roasting and coffee shop not 50 metres from our front door, La Caféothèque. Friendly and welcoming, you could sit here for hours only buying the one coffee, talking, thinking, reading, whatever. We came to know everyone in this shop so well and cannot wait to go back for a coffee there next year!

Ok, I love these. I love the description; intro to the friendly cozy cafe-home. That warm glow in #2, with your eyes peeking out over the cup and the composition, and your hair shining... BEAUTIFUL!
