Sex is currency
In a time when currency can mean more than tangible, physical money, sex and the themes of femininity themselves have become currency.
Desperation has been born out of the blurring of borders, the dissemination of images of women through media and the popularisation of the sex culture. It seems more and more that women, for a cost, will allow themselves to be consumed... to be an object that a price can be put to.
For as long as the world has turned, sex has always been a form of currency, and understandably, more prevalent in places and situations where choice is limited and survival is imperative... selling sex and yourself is a chance at a better life.
So the question is, if situation and circumstance came down to it, and all we could rely on was our body, our sexuality, what price would we sell it for?
