The Boarding pass!
pixel
Working for Imbroglio Productions, has been pleasurable so far! My job profile makes me take new adventures everyday! What more could I ask for? The ride especially became fun when I decided to push sales of tickets (image) by knocking each door in my apartment building!
The events that follow were hilarious, yet exhausting! I must have visited over 90 apartments. A few doors welcomed us (Betty and me) with smiles, the others had a zombie look on 'em ! What amazed us in particular were the red-eyed hung over bachelors, who perhaps did not know how to react, or which look to give us after, from what it seemed like a Saturday night party!
A gentleman in shorts, with unkempt hair and reddened eyes smiled and said, "Actually...I am moving out tomorrow for good!" Another housewife responded, "...but there are no children in this house.", however a little girl popped up next to her, who she concealed as her niece, visiting in vacations...
A breath of fresh air arrived with a bunch of working youngsters, who were rather warm and described themselves as the "pretentious artsy people" ! Their room had a bare mattress, with a guitar and lots of shoes around it...I was so sure of befriending these fun-loving, kindhearted young adults, who took my contact details and promised to get back! I am to visit them again today. I think, I can see in them beyond just potential customers for the show!
With a few bumps (grumpy, weird neighbours) here and there, we managed to sell only a couple of tickets with many potential buyers and a donor pass...
We retired to my flat after 3 exhausting hours, and sipped some lemon ice tea, while cracking up, over the happenings of the day :)
