The little tree-rat knew I was watching him. He was in the garden that's only 10 feet from the bathroom window...when I came back with the camera, he was all the way across the yard behind the lawn chair. (if you look close enough, you'll see the lawn chair)

*SNARF!* The title cracks me up! I love the watch the squirrels bury stuff. I fully expect to have random cornstalks growing in our front yard this summer.

I found a walnut in a flowerpot of mums I brought inside for the winter. Poor little bugger probably thought he had the best hiding place ever.

Our front yard has these little 1 inch holes all over it from the squirrels looking for places to hide stuff. They start digging and then are startled by a car, take off and come back and start on a different hole.
