Lens advice needed

I have a 35mm Pentax SLR with a standard 55mm lens. I bought a fisheye lens online when they said it would mount to my specific camera. It doesn't - it's a 46mm. Is there anyway to make this combo work? Help - I'm new at this. Thanks
