Everywhere it seems to be the same problem! And each of them has a story. Beautiful photo! Are you going through photojournalism?

Excellent photo! Interestingly, to me anyway, we have sort of the opposite 'problem' here in my town. We have a 5 story, multi million dollar, homeless shelter that provides beds, meals, counseling, and a program to move people into jobs and housing. Consequently we also have neighboring cities police who dump their problems off in front of the shelter. Thus we have become a magnet for homeless people.

great shot. love the grainy texture that seems to enhance the message. that scene could very well be in my city of 12 million people too. only that here it'll be much more crowded. the government, like in all other cities too, i would love to believe, have done their best to solve the problem but for one problem solved, 100 new problems turned up. in my city, people from far off districts made their way here with just one hope ~ to seek some light for better life. but, sad to say, many ended up in the streets as they're without or with little education and no skill. waking up alone is a lot better than waking up to many crying, hungry children to feed. hard life, disturbing reality

You are finding sensitive topics nowadays. (I remember your lonely man at a table.) It's good that you walk with your eyes open.

Unfortunately we can see and meet homeless people everywhere. And the crisis will bring lot of people to living in the streets. Don't know how I can help them. The picture is great.
