:-) JR grew up on the Mississippi, and I saw it for the first time last May when we were married.... took a river boat cruise. It looks like you had a beautiful day, very nice set! #1 is my favorite also!

These photos have such great color and I really like how you captured the birds. Very nicely done. My favorite is number three. It really does look like they are the watch out birds. :)

looks like a nice relaxing place to take a walk and shoot some photos! there's a path along the huron river in ann arbor where i used to live and my mom and i would always run/rollerblade along it and this reminds me of it. i miss being able to run on a nice nature path - only streets and neighborhoods here - although running along the lake can be awesome but sometimes it's so crowded or windy that it's more of a pain! i love #3 - seagulls are so funny.
