The Case of the Missing Cookies

There are many stories while traveling on Interstate 20 between Birmingham, Al and Atlanta, GA.
This is one of them.

It was a typical spring morning in Birmingham, the smell of bacon and light and fluffy pancakes filled the home of my lovely daughter and her husband. This day had the making of something outstanding. Allison and I attended a Photoshop class - and early Mother’s day present (guess I’m not getting the hydrangeas) . A wonderful instructor -not only giving us access to her, but a Mother’s Day discount and a book written by her father. Life was good.

It was time to leave Birmingham for our trip back to Atlanta. I devised a plan to get Full Moon cookies and got them.

I had to taste one . WOW ! that was good. I handed the bag to my mom , asking her to place them in the back of the car for me.

Settling in my mom’s home after 2.5 hours, it was time for another cookie. But wait! We could not find the cookies. We looked through all the bags, cleaned the car, but no cookies. There were 5 cookies left. Where are they I asked? Unfortunately there were no answers and no cookies.

Sadly, I had to admit, the cookies were gone. What a mystery!

The next day traveling to the airport my mom asked me to pull up the armrest.. You guessed it, there were the cookies..

Case solved!
