Desert Flowers

These were taken in Joshua Tree National Park. The weather was perfect for a trek in desert territory. We got there before noon and the recent cool front really helped moderate the temps. It was actually chilly when we first arrived but warmed quickly.

These are exceptional - I couldn't possibly choose a favorite! Aren't you amazed at all the "life" in a "barren" desert? What a rainbow of shapes, colors and sizes you posted here!!

Yup, great details in most of them and beautiful colors too.#3 #7 and 9 are my favorites here, but all rest have somethng interesant too. Well done !
