Here he was fanning his ears. The large amount of blood that flows through he ears is cool by the air and helps to cool his body.

Love it. Nice set. Male is solitary, but female suffers the solitude because they live in a large family. I always have in my eyes the image of the sad elephant seen at the zoo in Provence... and after a time they are moved from zoo to zoo... I hate it. Sorry, I have sad feelings every time I see animals in cage or in a zoo, even worst when they are obliged to work in a circus (I like circus without animals, I never go and see the one with animals indeed)
