I was lucky in that he stayed put until I could get flat on my stomach. The sun is behind him making his wings glow. I may crop out the face and get a good look at his expression. He probably thought that I am as crazy as the neighbors do!

I could hardly believe that this guy (or relative) returned to visit my side yard this morning. I live on a corner lot, so I can't imagine what the neighbors where thinking when I was prone in the flower bed shooting the 3rd shot. But, it is cool and was well worth the contortion.

I'm sure your neighbours must be used to your eccentric behavior by now Ray!.....hahaha Photographers motto: You gotta do what you gotta do to get that shot you want! These are excellent!

Yes, anything for the shot and to heck with what people think! Hopefully they'll think you're just having fun or maybe they'll think it's a new kind of weeding!! LOL Great shots, especially #1 and 4, I'm glad you got them.
