Crabtree Falls, In the Fall

This is the beginning of the trail that leads up the mountain to an over look of the valley. It is 1.7 miles.

The water falls over sections of rock the whole way down. There is never a 'wall of water'.

Yellows and orange were the main leaf color during my visit. More reds should show soon.

This is someones backyard just at the bottom of the mountain before heading up to the falls area.

This set is a portion of pictures taken at Crabtree Falls in Virginia a few days ago. More will follow.

How pretty is this? The bridge leading us into the area is a great choice for the first shot in the set - and I love the overall feel of #4 & 7. Nice trip, Ray - I've enjoyed it!

Beautiful shots, Ray. Love #7 the best. We have several places near us that have waterfalls and rocks - they are among my favorite subjects.
