Snow Squirrel

This guy was certainly happy to find feed in the feeder.

His friends had eaten most of it throughout the day.

He circled the feeder to find the nuts that were mixed in with the seed.

Checking out below for dropped fruit and nuts.

Great shots and an entertaining narrative Ray. Snow, snow, snow!!! These little guys are so "corny" that you end up being a little "nuts" after watching them. It's hard to keep a healthy "balance" at times! I love how the tail is wrapped around the feeder in #1.

I grew up in a small spa town, where the squirrels were so used to be fed by people, they came to you and asked for nuts! Maybe next time this little guy will knock at your door and ask for more:))

Nice to see the feeder is back open for business....great shots !!! Be careful if the squirrel comes to your door like "Eiram" said....if hes sees a big nut like you......you could be in a heap of trouble !!!!! ;o))

awesome captures! we have a couple of squirrels who think our deck railing is a highway between the two sides of the yard. I love to watch them too but they make my dog CRAZY!
