Revisiting a little reader

2016.04.30

I like to revisit familiar subject matter when I get a new lens (here my Lumix 35-100 2.8 constant aperture zoom) and this tiny statue of a girl reading that resides in the Library Garden at the Bainbridge Library is very familiar subject matter to me - she is the subject of at least one prior post here. I see her plenty every year as the Library Garden is one of my favorite locations for photographing flowers and I visit the library itself fairly often either as a patron or in my current status as a trustee. Sadly, every passing year this little lady shows a bit more of the ravages of weather and time.

pcmcgarry It does look as though the rust has taken a hold of her, shame.
