Remains of Merton Abbey, now has a road going over the top, but they've housed part of the ruins under a flyover.

It seemed quite surreal. Like walking in to the middle of a archaeological dig, in a busy, slightly run-down area of London, under a busy main road.
The funny thing is the sites not normally open to the public, it was just chance we where walking past on that day, a place we've never been before. |
Sadly a Travel Lodge now takes it's place.

I think you should do another year because I love your photos so much, but it makes sense if you want to take a break...Lovely photos by the way.

How great that you happened by at the right time. It does look like an archeological dig. I love Lilly's sulk. She is a star! I vote for another year too. I would miss seeing your girls grow. I find that I shoot a lot more because of photoblog. :)
