I never wear bare legs to school. It just isn't a good look for me, I can't pull it off so well, especially under the circumstances that a school day puts us through. So we're nearing the end of senior year and I'm tired. Huge baggy pants, bare legs, not even so much as socks. Well, I believe I had an extra hour to get ready that morning, and I didn't have to sit through all of my classes that day. This was a rare occasion that made this outfit possible. Not that it was a great outfit, it was actually pretty awful, but somewhat comfortable I guess.
Anyway, this is a curtain over a bookshelf in my art class. I had to come after school to finish some ceramic work, you can see some clay dust on my shoe. I don't think I ever did complete a single project that semester. I got into that class because the teacher, Mrs. Wolf, was so cool, but later found out she was real conservative and slightly racist. Oh, well. Two years ahead of me the Mormon boy graduated. He was her favorite student in the history of life. He was a prodigy in everything he tried. A few times he would even come back and visit her during class, and tell tales of all his wondrous works at BYU. "Oh my gosh, Wolfie!" He was just precious. Maybe he was why I joined that class, it looked like tons of fun. But then it turned out, I'm not the genius ceramicist he is. I wasn't very good atall.
