Happy Orphans at the HOPE Orphanage in Kibaha, Tanzania!

We went in to the small rural villages to help with the water well projects. A simple well costing US$ 2,500 - 3,000 can serve a rural community of 300-400 People with Fresh Water.

The charity has its own resources, including farming and also a Bio Gas plant producing cooking gas from Cow dung. Meals have to be prepared for 1300 students ranging from Nursery to College ages on a daily basis.

A few More pictures from my volunteering trip to the Charitable Organisation in Tanzania. Its is is a non-governmental organization, with a registered board of trustees under the Ministry of Home Affairs in Tanzania.

Being a humanitarian organization, it has departments which include:
.Running an orphanage under the name Haven of Peace (HOPE)
.Water Projects: Provision of clean drinking water in rural areas.
.Medical: Give Eye camps, dental Unit and Mother and Children Programs
.Social Welfare Programs.
.Micro Finance and Economic Development Projects
.Education Project: The Wali Ul Asr Education Centre (Consisting of UA Nursery School, Kibaha English .Medium Primary School, WISEM Boys/Girls School, .Coast Teachers Training Institute and The Power Computers Higher Education Centre)
