Searching for clarity

Life, like this picture, can be confusing - and where there is a path there is also obscurity.

It has been a curious start to the year. What with the theft of my wallet, my delayed trip to France, my amazing birthday. There has been so much happening that it has been hard to take stock.

But now it is getting on, life must some day return to ‘normal’ and I must find a new job. I must say I don’t regret giving up the last one…. It was getting to me much more than I realised and there is simply no point in extending misery! Wish I had had the same positive attitude to my last relationship – but that’s another thing.

Now I live in what seems to me to be the best relationship I have ever had - but of course this is not a ‘relationship’ in the true sense, it is just two friends sharing a house. Laughing, getting cross with each other, cooking, cleaning, sharing our love of things spiritual, and all the time trying to make sure we don’t get on each others nerves too much!

And of course sharing a detox…..
My own past efforts at detox have been pretty insignificant compared to the rigours of this week – its day 2 now and I am just about coping with the change in my diet – but cutting out coffee is hard! Not given up yet – but I can tell my body wants caffeine and one cup of tea a day is not enough!

But so far so good, and I seem to be able to drink the litre of apple juice a day without too much of a problem.

More as the week goes on I guess.

But back to work, and the lack of it, I guess I must not panic, but at the same time I need to feel that there is something on the horizon - something beyond the trees - and currently there is not.

Better stop blogging and get back to looking for some work!
