The contents of the fridge!

The solitary sardine - above vegetable stock - below mung beans - amongst other vegetables for a healthy lifestyle!

The contents of the fridge!

A significant phrase this. Years ago I was in a relationship where this phrase cropped up frequently. It cropped up in such a negative way that even now it brings back the horrors of this time and how bad it was. The phrase was used to illustrate me not wanting to talk about anything ‘meaningful’!

I was reminded of this yesterday when I found RosieLee’s blog and ‘the maiden’s prayer’ in which comes the line “Oh! send me a man who'll make love to my mind,” its well worth reading this prayer – but I will let people look for themselves.

Now, in my single state (I have been relationship free for nearly two and a half years now) I do think I can talk about ‘meaningful’ things. The problem in the past was that I just didn’t want to do this with the person concerned! Now, not only do I talk about all sorts of things, but I have also changed my lifestyle and eat a lot better than I did at the time of my great misery. (I am also 4 stones lighter!)

So maybe a glance at the fridge is not such a bad idea. Pride of place goes to the solitary sardine who survived last night’s supper – but around it are vegetables (some still in paper bags) and nothing that is particularly unhealthy – well I hope so anyway. And above it is the broth of vegetables that is particularly good when detoxing.

And, this blog is also an attempt to deal with the criticism (from a dear friend) that my reflections on Rambouillet pictures were ‘repetitious’ and that I should try and do something more ‘creative’.

Well it’s not a great picture as I can’t be bothered to get my proper camera out and have used my snappy – but maybe this will herald some different pictures. Who knows!

photopoet The sardine looks bereft of company—but the ming beans do look plentiful.

AlexandraPechabaden I didn't say "more creative"!!! I said "something "less repetitive" and a bit more different! This is definitely different! But your Rambouille pictures were pretty too. It s just that... well. It's nice to have some change!
