One Lime Street

2008.03.01

I feel sorry for this lone tree here with all this metal! But if you enlarge you can see little green leaves.

One Lime Street is perhaps better known as the Lloyds building, home to the insurance institution Lloyd's of London.

It was designed by architect Richard Rogers and built in 1986.
The building has its services such as staircases, and lifts and other things like pipes on the outside which makes for some interesting shapes!

DancingDolphin Great set of photos.... but can't say as I think much of the architecture! Very strange but mostly just uninviting! (in my opinion) :-)

noptek It looks more like an industrial plant than like a Loyds building. The idea is interesting. Great pictures. This little lone tree is a reminder that nature is still alive.
